Having grown up renovating homes with his dad, Mike spent many years hands-on in renovations and new construction. Being one of the first contractors in the city of New York to install decorative stamped and colored concrete, they quickly became the “go to” resource for repairing other contractor’s mistakes. This success led to expansion into full renovations, extensions and additions which involved framing, roofing, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. All work was performed under strict national and local code.
After many years in the field, Mike’s dad became unable to work full time and they decided to leave the business. Years later, family and friends began asking Mike to assist them in evaluating and renovating properties, he then returned to the field on a part time basis. This time he was only doing inspections and renovations for family and friends and his own investments. Over the course of the next 16 years, Mike renovated many properties in New York and New Jersey all under strict scrutiny from local building code officials. After relocating and purchasing homes in Katy, “I saw all the mistakes in the building process and the lack of answers and understanding from local resources” This led Mike to begin schooling to become licensed in the state of Texas. Beyond that, he continually educates himself on various methods and techniques for uncovering any potential issues around foundation/structural, plumbing, mechanical and electrical. “
